Former GDST pupil, Esther McVey talked to Years 8 and 9 about careers. The  MP for Wirral West has a background in law, business, TV production and presenting. Esther is convinced of the importance of role models for girls and she has produced a magazine “If Chloe Can” containing profiles of successful women in varied careers. She gave an inspiring and entertaining talk to Years 8 and 9, drawing on their career aspirations. When Renata Passaris in Year 8 said she wanted to be a fashion designer and was already producing bags, Esther commissioned one from her with a Westminster theme!
