FOPHS is the parents' association of Putney High School and aims to contribute to the school community by holding social and fundraising events such as the Pet Show (below left). FOPHS serves both the Senior and Junior Departments, providing a valuable link between the two.

One easy way to help raise funds for the school is to use the easyfundraising website while you shop with well-known retailers including Amazon, M&S, John Lewis and HMV. It doesn't cost a penny but up to 15 per cent from every purchase is given to your chosen cause.

Funds raised by parents enable the school to purchase extra items which would not otherwise be bought.  Recently these have included a contribution to the newly refurbished drama hall, innovative workshops on maths and thinking skills,choreography for Pinafore Pirates (below left) as well as support for sport and projects to bring learning to life. Parents are welcome to suggest ideas for items which FOPHS should consider funding.

Membership of FOPHS is open to all parents of girls at the school and the £10 subscription lasts for the whole of the family’s time at Putney High School.

FOPHS is made up of a Standing Committee of the Chair, Deputy Chairs, Secretary and Treasurer and one representative from each of the Year groups from Reception to Year 13.  The Headmistress, Dr Lodge and the Head of the Junior Department along with a representative from the Old Girls Association, the Staff and the Governors are also on the Committee.

Each Year group elects one person to represent their views and to co-ordinate any fundraising carried out during the year.
