Two girls in Year 1 have been announced runners up in a national competition to design a birthday card for Her Majesty The Queen.
Phoebe Anderson (on the left) and Sylvie Phillips entered the competition, which was run by Fat-chilli Cards and Gifts to celebrate the Queen's official birthday this month. Their cards were sent to Buckingham Palace and a lady-in-waiting has sent a letter of thanks on behalf of The Queen, describing the cards as "charming".
Both girls are pictured here holding their birthday card designs and the letter they received from Buckingham Palace. They each received a pack of 12 cards featuring their own design too.
