Our well-established House System encourages girls of all ages to mix together while taking part in activities and competitions such as the annual House Triathlon Week (language, artistic and sporting challenges), the Music Festival, Science Week and Sports Day.

Senior Department girls at Putney have managed to raise a staggering £12,000 for charity over the past academic year, 2009-10.
Throughout the school year, a variety of fundraising events were held, including cake sales, own clothes’ days, an Easter Egg Hunt and our very own ‘ Putney’s got Talent’.
Each House had their own nominated charity; Bronte for Cancer Research UK, Eliot for Smile Train and Austen for Kids in Need of Education. On the cake sales alone, the girls raised over £900.
The other three charities included Jeans for Genes, Sport Relief and the Haiti Appeal.  Well done!
