Foundation Stage:
Girls are introduced gradually to a full and varied curriculum which focuses predominantly on the acquisition of literacy and numeracy skills. The girls are encouraged to take control of their own learning at the earliest opportunity and are well supported as they begin to understand and make sense of their world.
Key Stage 1 (Garden House):
Most lessons are delivered by the class teacher who develops a strong, nurturing relationship with girls. The curriculum consists of:
Mathematics, English, Science, History, Geography, Music, Information Communication Technology (ICT), Design Technology, Art, Life Skills, Religious Studies, PE, gymnastics, dance and games.
Key Stage 2 (Lytton House)
Girls are taught by an increasing number of specialist teachers, enabling them to take advantage of a wealth of expertise. French is studied from Year 4 and swimming introduced in Year 3.
Extension Activities include:
Chess, Music, Choir, Orchestra, French, Art Club, Gymnastics, Netball, Gardening, ICT and more.
