Recently swapping from sculling to sweep oar rowing, the senior squad coxed four rose to the challenge admirably and were the 9th fastest in their time trial.  With a challenging lane in the semi final the crew were slower out of the blocks and despite a good cruise speed, this left too much work for the finish.

The performance of the weekend came from Lucy Edwards who sculled magnificently throughout the J16 single event.  Her confident, fluid technique earned her 5th place in the final and showed even further potential for coming years.
