Miss Ellis coxed the Great Britain Women’s Eight at the Atlanta 1996 Olympics, as well as securing bronze medals at both the World Championships and the Commonwealth Games.
She officially unveiled the name of the school's new boat, Blazing Paddles.
A coxless four, the stunning boat comes as the school's rowing club becomes ever more successful and popular.
At the naming ceremony, Deputy Head (Pastoral), Miss Oona Carlin paid tribute to parents, who continue to give time and money to support the rowing club.
