Two Year 8 girls are runners up in an out-of-this-world science competition developed by the British National Space Centre.
The girls, pictured here with their science teacher, have been selected as runners up in a recent competition run in conjunction with the British National Space Centre and The Metro newspaper.
The girls entered the competition by submitting ideas for a space enterprise which included an imaginative moon cruise and space ship designs.
The girls will attend a VIP day at the National Space Centre in Leicester in December to meet Mr Richard Garriott - one of the most influential modern space entrepreneurs and a millionnaire games developer.
