Management Today’s annual run down of 35 top business women under 35 has been announced for 2011, and  two are former students of Putney –  Aimee Di Marco and Alexandra Popa.
 
Aimee Di Marco who  left in 1997 is a specialist registrar in general surgery at Imperial College and she is at the leading edge of robotic surgery.
 
Alexandra Popa who left in 2001 launched her own underwear range in 2007, and supplied outfits for Britney Spears’ Circus Tour. Her celebrity clients include Lady Gaga and Rihanna.
