For September 2011 the school fees are as follows:
Senior School - £4,388 per term
Junior School - £3,496 per term
Payment of Fees:
The usual method of payment is termly on or before the due date through the direct debit system but parents are also welcome to pay in monthly instalments (four per term). Please note that there is a service charge of £24.00 per term for monthly payments.
To arrange payment please contact the Fees Department at the GDST.
The fees cover the regular curriculum, school books, stationery and other materials, external careers consultancy, choral music, games and public examination fees, but not optional extra subjects or school lunch.
Lunch is compulsory for all pupils in Reception through to and including Year 11. For the academic year September 2010 - July 2011, the charge per term is £140 (Reception and Years 1&2) and £170 per term (Year 3 to Year 11). This is charged separately on the fees account. Lunch for Sixth Form can be purchased on the day.
NB. Whenever possible, a term’s notice will be given of the intention to increase the fees for tuition, lunch or extra subjects. However, if circumstances arise in which costs (ie substantial increases in teachers’ salaries) have to be recouped immediately, the Council of the Trust may be forced to increase fees at less than a term’s notice.
