Year Seven discuss seven wide ranging titles in their Wider Reading Group which meets weekly. Titles include The Grass Harp by Truman Capote and Haroun and the Sea of Stories by Salman Rushdie.

Putney's Book Clubs are booming - other Book Clubs include the Year 13 Salon as well as four Year 11 groups.  Year 12's Book Club begins by reading Anne Bronte'sTenant of Wildfell Hall in March.
