The link was established this spring when 13 students and three teachers travelled to China and visited Jin Yuan Senior High School, a well-established co-educational school.

The relationship has now been cemented, with agreements signed in Shanghai by Principal Ms Wang and in Putney by headmistress Dr Denise Lodge.

The first girls to take part in the exchange programme will travel to Shanghai during the next academic year. Ms Wang is pictured here on the right, alongside one of her teachers, Ms Wang Susan.
