"As soon as I arrived, I found that all the girls were really friendly and happy. I immediately felt part of the school." Year 6 pupil
All girls in Lytton House are encouraged to represent their school in friendly competitions. The Junior School has earned a national reputation for excellence in music, netball, tennis, gymnastics and chess. In 2009, the team was placed second in the UK at Floor and Vault gymnastics.
The Lytton House Choir, which consists of all girls in Years 5 and 6, has won through to the finals of the BBC Songs of Praise School Choir of the Year competition twice in two years. In February 2008 and March 2010, girls were runners-up.
Such is its success, the choir has been invited to perform at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham several times and has been awarded the coveted 'Highly Commended Performance Award' at the Music for Youth National Festival.
