Jess won two silvers and three bronzes in the Disability Sports Events (DSE) National Junior Championships event at Sheffield, where she competed alongside some of Britain's best, including established Paralympians.
As a result, the Putney High School pupil has now been nominated for the South-East Region Talent Programme.
Also in the pool, Putney High School pupil Genie Rendell once again scooped a handful of medals at the Surrey County Swimming Championships, winning 8 golds, 4 silver and 5 bronze. Genie achieved a national qualifying time in the 100m backstroke, securing her place in the nationals event in Sheffield this summer, when she will compete against the country’s top 30 swimmers at this event.
