Year 4 left Lytton House in 2010 to travel back to the 1600s, Tudor time! Off they went on a 3½ hour long journey to Hooke Court where they had an exciting, educational three day residential trip. They enjoyed cooking custard cream tarts and gingerbread men, dancing to Old English music and dressing up like proper Tudors. Although it was raining most of the time they had lots of fun. The highlight was the banquet where they all dressed up and had a good laugh when Ms Sanders entered the room dressed as Queen Elizabeth I. Many enjoyed sleeping inside the dorms with their friends; however some had some insecurities about being away from home... these were soon forgotten about however! We will all experience the story with Year 4S’s assembly which will be coming up soon!
