Thirteen girls from Years 11, 12 and 13 entered this year’s UK Linguistics Olympiad for the first time, and were among 833 pupils from over 50 schools. All sat the Advanced level paper. We were delighted with the results, with three girls being awarded certificates: Tami Annesley (Y13) won Silver, and Rose Woolhouse and Alex Owens (both Y11) won Bronze (only just missing out on a Silver certificate). This is a fantastic achievement and all girls involved should be congratulated.
