The girls in Year 9, Maths Division 1, took part in the Mathematics World Class Tests. 

These tests are organised by World Class Arena, a global initiative designed to identify and nurture gifted and talented students around the world.

The tests are designed for students in the top 10%.  They require students to apply creative thinking and logic by demonstrating their ability to process and respond to unfamiliar information and communicate their thought processes coherently.

The girls took two tests, one paper-based and one computer-based, each 75 minutes long.

We are delighted that twenty four of the girls achieved a Pass.

Of those, eleven received a Merit and six received a Distinction.
