This week Year 9 visited Kew Gardens to study environments different from our own. The world famous gardens and research centre, is the perfect place to study plants in their own environment.

Visiting Kew Garden’s Palm House, Princess of Wales Conservatory, the Temperate House, and the new museum, ‘Plants and People’, girls investigated plant adaptations in response to opportunities and constraints of their surroundings, and related environmental issues.

Students collected information throughout the day and will design an informative poster related to one of the climatic zones studied.
