Events & Activities

At Lytton House we aim to provide a balanced education for the girls. We organise and arrange a wealth of extra-curricular activities which the girls can attend, and benefit from. Many of these clubs and activities take place after school whilst others take place at lunchtime. The following is an example of what is on offer here at Lytton House:
Gym, Choir, Chess, Dance, Netball, ICT, Art, French, Writing and Book Group.
The girls’ education is complemented beautifully by a full and varied range of educational visits made by speakers and authors. All girls participate in these activities which are organised to supplement the educational provision and also to encourage team and social skills. Here are just a few places that girls have visited:
- Natural History Museum,
- Courtauld Gallery,
- Mary Rose Exhibition,
- London Aquarium,
- Shakespeare 4 Kids Drama Workshop,
- The Ragged Museum,
- National Portrait Gallery,
- Lyric Theate,
- Wimbledon Theatre Pantomime.
Year 5 also have a residential trip to the Isle of Wight each year and Year 6 spend an exciting week at an outdoor adventure centre near Southampton.
