Houses

house photographIn the Autumn term of 2003 the House system was introduced to Lytton House.  The four houses are Nightingale (Red), Johnson (Blue), Kingsley (Yellow), Fonteyn (Green).  

Certain events through the year are designated House Events and the awarding of Acorns happens accordingly, namely:  Sports Day, Valentine Music Festival and Inter-House Netball. 

We also have a House Week which is organised and run by the Year 6 leaders for the benefit of all our girls.  It is a fun-filled week during which all girls are actively encouraged to earn extra acorns for their House.

ImageThis year the girls raised money for the Meningitis Trust. Johnson produced an impressive display of blue handprints as well as some very wacky blue hairstyles. Girls in Kingsley looked resplendent in yellow and the teddy bear fashion show was enjoyed by all.The Fonteyn theme of rainbow colours led to some colourful creations and girls in both Nightingale and Fonteyn had fun playing home produced games in the playground. Their day culminated with the undoubted highlight of the Princess Ball.
