Pickwick
Coming soon - Pickwick!The main school production this year will be Pickwick, based on Charles Dickens' Pickwick Papers, more properly, The Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club. It is an extremely jolly show which catches the cheerful and goodhearted spirit of the gentleman with the bald head and round glasses who is its hero.

Emanating from the Lionel Bart school of musical theatre in the '60s, Pickwick was written at the instigation of Harry Secombe who made the part his own for three decades.

The cast of thousands (about 40) has been rehearsing furiously since the beginning of term and everyone is looking forward to a fabulous show in October. The show will run from Wednesday October 17th to Friday 19th in the main hall at 7pm.

Tickets are now on sale at Reception (call 020 8788 4886) and will cost £8 (£4 for concessions). The price will include light refreshments during the interval..
