Police pay a visit for Personal Safety Day

Girls with their 'safety' bagsIt was Personal Safety Day today and East Putney Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) visited the school to give girls tips on how to stay safe over the Christmas break before distributing bags full of pens, personal alarms and leaflets.

 

 

 

 

Girls were taught to P.L.A.N ahead by:

  • Preparing
  • Looking confident
  • Avoiding risks
  • Never taking safety for granted

The girls were given information about how to protect their mobile phones and other property by visiting the website www.immobilise.com and registering their items for free. By registering their property they stand a much better chance of getting it back if it is lost or stolen.
