Dame Gillian Beer talks about Virginia WoolfDame Gillian Beer, the renowned academic and lecturer, visited Putney to give a Virginia Woolf masterclass.

The audience of sixth formers and staff were privileged to hear Dame Gillian talk in the library about the works of Virginia Woolf providing fresh and original insights into her work. As Dame Gillian has said 'I'm happy when I read her and write about her. I go to her when I feel wouldn't it be wonderful just to renew.'

A lively question and answer session followed with an opportunity for girls to ask individual questions.
