Congratulations girls!

It's over! Well done! After six gruelling months of competition, I can report, at last, success for all our rowers in the CONCEPT 2 INDOOR SCHOOLS LEAGUE.

Rising above the shame of the names that I gave their teams, Year 11 (The Wraiths), matched their success of last year with a bronze medal. Year 10 (The Faeries) bettered this with a silver and Year 9 (The Elves) won a silver and a bronze medal!

We doubled last year's medal tally and this is a TREMENDOUS result in a national competition.

Year 8 (The Pixies) were unlucky to miss the medals by just a few percentage points, finishing fourth. Year 7 (The Munchkins) improved steadily to finish tenth in a mammoth field of nearly 200 teams.

Well done girls (and sorry about the team names)!
